SOCIETY OF ANTIQUARIES OF LONDON: AUDIENCE DEVELOPMENT
SAL is Britain’s oldest independent learned society concerned with the study of the material culture of the past. The Society is based at Burlington House, Piccadilly, London where it houses objects and paintings, and a world-renowned library of manuscripts, prints and drawings. It also owns and manages Kelmscott Manor in Oxfordshire, the former summer home of William Morris. Wafer Hadley worked with the Society on its audience development strategy, and fed into a bid for HLF funding for Kelmscott Manor.
