GOING PLACES MUSEUM & GALLERY PARTNERSHIP: EVALUATION
This new national partnership between twenty museums and galleries is an Art Fund programme funded by National Lottery Heritage Fund and the Julia Rausing Trust. It aims to engage and involve underrepresented audiences with museum collections through high quality, collaborative touring exhibitions and public programmes.
Wafer Hadley is the evaluation partner for the project, working closely with museums and galleries over five years to measure impact on participants, and on the organisations themselves. Up to 2030, the six networks will each co-create two touring exhibitions, aiming to reach half a million people.
Our work on this exciting programme builds on recommendations from our 2019 report Going Places, for Art Fund and Creative Scotland, which reviewed the landscape for touring exhibitions in the UK.
